The city of Toronto is a great place to visit any time of the year. There are a lot of things to do in Toronto. They have outstanding restaurants, a great deal of diversity, fantastic shopping, a strong theatre district and festivals. If you are planning on visiting in the summer time and aren’t sure of where to go or what to see, consider visiting the Legislative Building at Queen’s Park or the city’s beautiful and spacious parks. If you have children or if there will be young ones traveling with you, consider taking them to Kidsummer.  Kids will enjoy lots of activities created especially for them. Bloor-Yorkville is a nice place to visit if you want some culture, fine dining or want to get in some upscale shopping. Legislative Building at Queen’s Park: The legislative building at Queen’s Park is an excellent place to visit during the summer time. It is an extremely popular destination for both tourists and those who live locally. The legislative building is near the University of Toronto and the Royal Ontario Museum. Visitors can use the public transit system to reach this great Toronto landmark.  It is where Ontario’s Members of Provincial Parliament meet. Tours are free and last for about an hour during the summer. One half of that time is spent outdoors on the grounds and the other half touring the interior of the building.

Toronto’s Beautiful Parks: Toronto has a ton of beautiful parks. A few of these parks which you should consider visiting, are the Ashbridges Bay Park, Battery Park and Rouge Park. Ashbridges Bay Park is over 300 acres, has a beach area, picnic areas and trails that are perfect for walking and hiking. Battery Park has a beach area, a picnic area, trails and a swimming pool. Rouge Park is a huge park that has camping grounds, beaches, hiking trails and great views.

Kidsummer: If you have children, Kidsummer is the perfect place to take them in Toronto during the summer. It is a family friendly place that young people will really enjoy. Kids are able to look at animals, plants. There is also a really great water maze.

Bloor-Yorkville: Bloor-Yorkville is a really cool part of Toronto. It has great restaurants, shopping, wonderful hotels and art galleries.

Catch A Toronto Blue Jays Game: Going to a Toronto Blue Jays game can be a great getaway for sport enthusiasts. If you like baseball, you will find that the Blue Jay’s stadium is a state-of-the-art facility that offers an enjoyable and fun summer experience for visitors. 

Visiting Toronto is a great way to spend your summer vacation. There are plenty of things to do for the entire family.
